I really need to live with one or more cats that are sociable with people. They make me feel comfortable and at ease.
I'm afraid of sudden movements and I've never been around dogs, so I prefer an environment without them.
I'm too shy to live with young humans, so I'd be happy with a single person, a couple or a family with teenagers.
I was named Viper and promised that I would have a chance at a respectable life expectancy. I was taken off the Montreal back alleys and nursed back to health to give me bright future. After more than a year of socialization, I'm ready to join my own furever family! I've made a lot of progress in recent months, and I'm feeling better. I'm a calm, curious and lovely kitty.
Good news: I now let my foster mom pet me and I can be let loose in a room without trying to hide! It's a big step forward for me, and I'll need my future family to help me continue along this path.
When I integrate into your home, an isolation room will be necessary for the first few weeks. If you let me loose immediately, I'll hide, and it will be harder for me to adapt. As a “ghost cat” who doesn't particularly seek human contact, I'm looking for an adoptive family who understands this aspect. Above all, I'm destined to become a good companion for your cat(s).
The good news is that I’m FIV and FeLV negative, and generally healthy. Although I'm not very fond of food, I never say no to some ‘Creamy’. I'm currently taking medication to help me overcome my anxiety and, ideally, the combination of medication and socialization will have to continue following my adoption, before considering stopping treatment. It helps me adapt and socialize faster!
