Hawaï

Virtual adoption

Taken into our care in August 2023, Hawaï experienced one health problem after another, which unfortunately prevented us from having her operated on to remove the clot obstructing her urinary system. So we decided to take care of her until the end.

Her story

Poor Hawaï was abandoned in a veterinary clinic in 2023, before being entrusted to us by the clinic to save her from euthanasia. Just after we agreed to take her in, they noticed she was having urinary problems, which led to unexpected expenses for what was originally supposed to be a simple case. She suffers from renal hematuria, and this time, the treatment wasn't effective. The clot continues to block the flow of urine to her left kidney. Urine accumulates in the blocked kidney, and episodes of blood in her urine have been noted on several occasions in the past. She's being followed in internal medicine and continues to undergo tests.

Expenses since August 2023

$15,133.00
