Description
I was found as a stray by another organization. I had discharge from my eyes and nose.
Socialisation
CATS
For sure I can live with other cats but don't necessarily play with them. They make me feel more confident.
DOGS
I'm too stressed to live with a big dog but I could be tested with a small dog.
CHILDREN
I could adapt to calm and respectful children aged 12 and over if they don't touch me.
About me
I was quickly given the care I needed to get back on my paws, and was then taken in by Mission Mayday. Since I've been with them, I've been placed with a foster family and they've been working hard on my socialization.
As you can see, I'm shy and very independent. I like to have my own space and be up high. I love hiding places, and I'll even bring my favourite cat tree so I don't feel too unsettled. When I'm stressed, I sometimes stop grooming and my coat gets matted and dirty, which is why it's so important for me to be in an environment without a big dog.
When I first join you, I'll have to be isolated in a room for a while to help me adapt to my new environment and, above all, to you! At the moment, even though I've been with my foster mom for a few months, I'm not very affectionate towards her, but I let her approach me.
I could live with a calm cat who would give me my space. I'm not very playful and prefer to lounge around on my own, but I do have my little moments of madness with my rope and mouse.
I'm being adopted on a compassionate basis as I need to work on my socialization. I'm a quiet little cat who won't bother you much. I'm calm and I don't take up much space. I can't wait to get my own furever family!
I'm going to have a dental procedure soon, which will be at the organization's expense in one of their partner clinics. Details will be provided at the time of adoption.
