Rosemary

Hi, I'm Rosemary! I'm ready to take off for new adventures! I'm a one-year-old female with energy to spare. I adapt quickly to new environments and I'm sociable with all the people I meet. People say I'm gentle, playful and clean. I even claw at sisal and carpet poles. I also come running when my name is called!

I spent a long time with Mission Mayday as I had a litter of two kittens in November. I took good care of them, and stayed with a foster family after their adoption because I had to be spayed and finish my basic care. Now it's my turn to find my lifelong family; a home in which I'll be the only pet to enjoy my new life to the full!

I love being high up on the cat tree, above the fridge and on the cupboards. I'm especially fascinated by birds and squirrels. Since I often try to sneak out of the house, I'd need a home with a closed entrance or an apartment/condo that opens onto a hallway. Of course, if my family has a catio (an enclosed outdoor space that's safe for cats), that would be a dream for me, as I love to watch outside!

I enjoy attention, but I'm not the most affectionate cat. I say hello to visitors and let them pet me, but I get on with my life afterwards! I have my moments of tenderness with my foster mom, but I appreciate it even more when she plays with me. I really like toys with fur or feathers, and balls soft enough to carry in my mouth.
