Mission Paws United
Help us open Mayday’s very first headquarters — a place to heal, help, and love
We believe it's time to move forward with a special project that will ultimately save more lives: we have therefore decided to open a facility!
Our goal:
To improve our resources and support low-income families in caring for their pets while enhancing the management of our ever-growing organization!
For a better future
Having a location in Greater Montreal will allow us to implement new programs for our animals and low-income pet owners:
- dog training for all;
- microchipping and nail trimming days;
- low-cost grooming;
- food bank;
- home boarding, and more.

Our profile is accepted for the premises visited, but we finally decide not to go ahead with this establishment. We receive the help of a real estate agent to find the perfect location and so the search continues.
April 9, 2025
Mégane, Charlotte and Mayday were invited to the set of the Salut Bonjour TV show to promote our organization and this fundraiser. More than $2,000 in donations were raised for this cause that day!

The bank responded to our request for Accord D financing and a line of credit—totaling $20,000 as we requested. We were accepted!

Signing of the agreement with CAP St-Barnabé and official launch of the humanitarian program. A big milestone achieved for this project! A veterinary technician has joined the team to handle aid requests.

We have expressed our interest in a conveniently located commercial space in Montreal that should become available on February 2026.
December 2, 2025
First visit of the Ahuntsic space by our treasurer. The location would be available starting in February 2026. We will have more details in January. A second visit will be scheduled soon with other team members.
January 6, 2026
Second visit to the Ahuntsic space by the administrative committee. We were shared the electricity costs from the past year and were offered the furniture left behind by the former business (shelving, reception desk, washer-dryer, etc.). Discussions are ongoing.

About Mission Mayday
Mission Mayday is a non-profit organization that was founded in January 2022 to prevent euthanasia for animals suffering from abuse and requiring medical care.
We do not hesitate to spend large amounts of money to save dogs and cats without families. The majority of our passengers come from seizures by the authorities, animal services, shelters, and surrenders in veterinary clinics.
A wind of change
Every year, we spend a significant amount on medical care, food, animal boarding, various accessories, and transportation.
Distributing resources and managing food and material donations is complicated because we have foster homes all across Greater Montreal. It's time for a change!
Thank you for your support!

In the face of rising care and living costs, we believe that people who love their pets deserve help to be able to keep them and take care of their mental and/or physical health.
