About me
Hi, my name is Obasi! I’m now ready to find my forever family! I’m an 8-year-old tomcat who loves being petted. As a Bengal mix, I’m very active and vocal. If I want something, I’ll definitely let you know!
I used to live outdoors, so I ask to go out very often. I think life on a farm could be a good option for me, because I don’t really have good survival instincts in the city—I’m a bit too silly for that! Otherwise, someone who can take me out into the yard several times a day would be great. A catio could also suit me well!
Toys don’t interest me much, and neither do the cats and dogs I live with—I mostly ignore them. On the other hand, I really love my scratching post that smells like catnip.
I’m on a special veterinary diet because I had urinary issues. Since starting this food, I’ve been doing much better: I use the litter box every time—except when I get bored because I’ve been left alone for too long.
I’m very easy to handle. My humans can trim my nails and look in my mouth without it bothering me. I also really enjoy being carried, curled up in a little ball. I’m looking for a home with lots of enrichment—especially places where I can climb.
Who will fall for my charm? I can’t wait to finally have a home of my own!
Cats
I can live with other cats, but I don’t really pay attention to them.
Dogs
To be honest I’m comfortable with dogs, as long as they leave me alone.
Other pets
I’ve never been evaluated with small animals, so that would need to be assessed.
Kids
I think I could live with children, as I’m very sociable with humans.
