About me
My name is Willow, and I'm a calm, gentle, incredibly affectionate girl. I have one irresistible habit: I love sleeping cuddled up against my human—sometimes on their back, sometimes right on the pillow! I also adore being brushed and petted.
I'm a sweet, sensitive soul. I need to be spoken to softly, allowed to go at my own pace, and given time to open up. That's exactly what my foster family did, and thanks to their patience, I learned to trust. Today, I'm loving, emotionally secure, and deeply devoted to my favourite person.
I’m house-trained, easygoing, and I love living in a quiet environment. I have a great appetite, love my naps, enjoy soaking up the sunshine, and could spend hours watching birds through big windows. My cat tree is my kingdom—perching at the very top to rest. Most of my playtime happens at night, when I chase soft toys, springs, or lightweight balls. I'm also very well-behaved when I'm home alone.
I came to Mission Mayday so they could remove the inflammatory polyp that was causing chronic ear infections in my right ear. The funny shape of my ears certainly didn't do me any favours! The goal was to save my ear and avoid removing the ear canal, which would have left me deaf in one ear. Now, all I need is good ear care: regular cleanings with an appropriate ear cleaner will keep me comfortable. It also looks like I may be able to switch foods, since my polyp doesn't appear to have been caused by allergies after all!
I'm ready to give my love to a kind, patient family that will respect my sensitive nature. With a gentle touch and a calm environment, I become an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion. Do you think we'd be the perfect match?
Cat
I haven't met any cats since I was abandoned, so I'm not sure how I feel about them.
Dogs
I get along well with dogs, so I'd be happy to have a canine friend.
Other pets
With proper supervision, I could potentially live with small animals.
Kids
I have to admit I'd rather live in a home without young children, as they're a little too energetic for me.
